BYOD Argument

I strongly agree that we should have BYOD at NCS. Read on to find my opinion about having BYOD.

I think we should have bring your own device [BYOD] because we always do work and need a reward. People might get their work done faster because they know that they can use their device after they finish their work.

Not everyone has a device to bring in so we would all have to share which could get annoying for some of us. Someone you are sharing it with might not give it back. They can also get broken and insurance cost a lot of money.

If we bring in a device we can use them for work like on google docs and then on sumdog after our work.We can use them for blogger too and if we have educational games on our device we can play them as well.

The main reason I want BYOD is because we need a better reward than just dojos for good work. Now you know why I want BYOD and not just school provided dojos.

Last week we made some calendar art we painted the back ground and cut out silhouettes then glued them on.

Going skiing at Rainbow ski field

On Tuesday room 1, 15 and my class went to Rainbow ski field and went skiing. It was really fun but I didn't get to the Intermediate level witch was a bummer but my friends and I still had lots of fun on the beginner slope trying to turn. We all had a snow ball fight at the very start as well we also drove to the shuttle bus then went the rest of the way on the shuttle bus. The buses had chains on the front wheels and had lots of suspension as well with off road wheels on the back when we got to the top we had to take our gear into the cabin and then after the snow ball fight we went and got our lessons with the inspectors witch was fun and but we had to get the ski boots and skis first other wise there would be no point in the lesson.  

Tree planting

This week we went tree planting up by Branford park. We went up a trail that led us to the top of a hill it felt like we were doing a summit walk again. When we got to the top of the hill the people that were doing the tree planting showed us how to plant the tree. Then we were aloud to get a shovel and get to work there were spots on the hill with the trees next to them. So we then started to make the holes in the ground and put the trees in the holes I planted about 7 or 8 trees then we walked back down the hill and took the bus back to school.

Connor's house

On Sunday I went to Connor's and went on his bouncy castle and in his pool. But his cousin Zai was there and he cheated in a race and said to Connor's mum that we were not playing fair. Then we went on his tramp with the balls and we weren't aloud to touch the ball or we were out so we had to be careful.
